Instructions

  1. Peel the bananas and cut them lengthways into halves.
  2. Heat the butter and honey in a non-stick pan over medium heat for 1 minute, stirring, until melted and combined.
  3. Add the banana halves to the pan and fry over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side until lightly golden. Transfer to a plate and keep warm.
  4. Pour the amaretto into the same pan, add the flaked almonds, and simmer over medium-low heat for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Divide the banana halves between 4 plates, placing 2 halves on each plate.
  6. Pour the amaretto almond mixture and its juices over the bananas.
  7. Drizzle with chocolate sauce and serve with whipped cream.
