Instructions

  1. Halve the meat loaf and cut into strips. Fry in a pan with a little oil until it is nice and brown and crispy. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  2. Peel the onions, cut in half and cut into thin slices. Sweat with a little oil in a pan and steam until soft. Add 2 tablespoons of water if necessary. Then add 1 teaspoon of honey and briefly glaze the onions.
  3. Cut the cucumber into thin slices.
  4. Put the ketchup in a small bowl and refine with chilli flakes if you like. Put the mayonnaise and mustard in another bowl and stir together.
  5. Heat the pretzel sticks for approx. 3 - 5 minutes in the oven at 180 ° C top / bottom heat on the middle shelf. Cut lengthways at the top but do not cut through.
  6. Now push the cut pretzel stick apart slightly so that you can fill it.
  7. Put 1/4 of the fried meat loaf in each stick. Spread the cucumber slices and the glazed onions on top as you like and pour some mustard mayonnaise and chili ketchup over them. Serve warm.
