Instructions

  1. Peel the skin off the meat sausage (Lyoner) and cut the sausage into slices. Peel the onions and cut into rings that are not too thick. Mix both in a salad bowl. Mix the oil, white wine vinegar, freshly ground pepper, salt and a pinch of sugar into a spicy marinade. Pour over the Bavarian sausage salad, mix in briefly and cover in the refrigerator for at least 30-45 minutes.
  2. Garnish with finely chopped chives just before serving.
  3. Serve with fresh pretzels or farmhouse bread and a fresh beer.
