Cook the spaetzle until soft according to the instructions on the packet. Drain and pour into a baking dish.
Peel and chop the onions. Heat some oil in a saucepan. Fry the onions until translucent. Add the minced meat and fry until crumbly. Add the ham cubes and let them warm up briefly. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Deglaze with the vegetable stock and bring to the boil briefly. Add the cream.
Pour the minced meat sauce over the spaetzle. Distribute and fold in.
Pour the parmesan and fried onions over the spaetzle. Preferably the fried onions at the end.
