Instructions

  1. Wash and trim the beans, cut off the ends. Halve long beans if necessary. In a saucepan covered with water, bring the beans to the boil with 1/2 teaspoon salt and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, peel the onion and cut into rings. Wash the tomatoes and cut out the stalk. Halve the tomatoes, quarter them, cut out the inside and cut the tomatoes into fine cubes. Fry the bacon in a small pan without fat and set aside. For the salad dressing, mix well the vinegar, herb salt, pepper, sugar, mustard and oil.
  3. Drain the beans and rinse in cold water. Allow to cool slightly.
  4. Put the beans in a bowl and top with the salad dressing, the diced tomatoes, the onion rings and finally the bacon.
