- Dice the onion, potatoes and ham. Clean the beans and cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Heat oil in a saucepan and roast the onion and ham in it. Pour in the vegetable stock and bring to the boil.
- Cover and cook the potatoes and beans in the vegetable stock for about 15 minutes.
- Season to taste with salt and cayenne pepper.
