Wash the beans and cook them in salted water. They should still be firm to the bite or al dente. Then quench in cold water. The cooking process is interrupted abruptly and the beans stay firm. Now wrap about 10 beans each in a strip of bacon and then fix with a wooden skewer. Process all beans like this. Now wet these bean skewers with a little oil, lightly powder with the fine breadcrumbs and place on a baking sheet. Now bake the tray with the bean skewers under the hot oven grill until the bacon and breadcrumbs have turned a golden yellow color. These skewers can be eaten hot or cold.
