Instructions

  1. Bring a saucepan of water to a boil. Blanch the frozen beans for approx. 6 - 8 minutes, drain and rinse in cold water.
  2. Wash the meat, pat dry and cut into strips or dice. I tend to cut it into cubes.
  3. For the marinade:
  4. Heat a little oil in the pan, really only 1 - 2 teaspoons, again only depending on the taste. Add the sesame seeds and roast, please only roast! Then you can save yourself the expensive sesame oil, by roasting you get a much more pleasant, flavored roasted taste of the sesame.
  5. Grate the ginger and garlic. Core the chilli pepper, cut into rings and mix with all the other marinade ingredients.
  6. Put the meat in the marinade, mix well and leave to stand in the refrigerator for about 1 hour. It is best not to add salt. If you only smell the teriyaki sauce, you know whether it is already heavily salted, so don`t underestimate it.
  7. Chop the onion or leek into small pieces. Cut the garlic clove into thin slices. Cut the chilli pepper into thin rings.
  8. Heat the oil in a pan or wok. Sear the meat with as little sauce as you can, don`t forget to swirl. It is already cooked after it has been seared if there are thin strips. Now deglaze the meat with the rest of the sauce. Add the beans, chilli pepper, onions and garlic slices and fry until they are hot. I like it hot and roasted. If it gets too thick for you, you are welcome to add a little water every now and then.
  9. Put the pan`s contents on the plate and sprinkle some more sesame seeds on top.
  10. I like rice best with it. You are also welcome to salt it as usual.
