If in the recipe you combine such concepts as “shashlik” and “entrecote”, as well as oriental spices and the process of cooking on charcoal, it is easy to guess what a dish is that absolutely everyone will like. We offer you a recipe for beef entrecote kebab.
Combine 1.5 tbsp cilantro seeds, 1.5 tbsp cumin, 1.5 tbsp salt, 2 tsp ground sweet paprika, and 2 tsp ground black pepper in a bowl.
Clean and wash 4 onions, then cut into half rings.
Add the onion halves to the bowl of spices and mix well.
Cut the 2.5 kg beef entrecote into cubes about 2 cm on each side (roughly 20 g per cube).
Add the beef cubes to the marinade and mix well, then add 150 ml carbonated water and mix thoroughly.
Transfer to a sealed container and refrigerate for at least 3 hours (can be kept for up to 1-2 days).
Thread 5 beef cubes onto each barbecue skewer. Grill on coals over medium heat for 4 minutes per side, until the internal temperature reaches 63°C / 145°F.
Serve topped with pickled onions and pomegranate seeds, with tortillas on the side.
