Instructions

  1. Peel the turnip, carrots and potatoes and cut into pieces. Put everything in a saucepan. Give the Mettenden to this. Cover everything completely with water and simmer for about 1 1/2 hours.
  2. Take the meat off the pot. Stomp through everything else and season with salt, plenty of pepper and, if you like, with nutmeg and vegetable stock.
  3. Serve the mush with the meatballs.
