Instructions

  1. Wash and core the peppers and cut into fine pieces. Peel the onion and cut into fine pieces. Knead the minced meat, paprika, onion and egg, add some breadcrumbs if necessary. The mass should be slightly damp, but not sticky. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. If you like, you can add garlic and herbs.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs and fry them brown on both sides in oil. If you like it a little crispier, you can turn the meatballs in breadcrumbs before frying.
  3. Depending on the size of the meatballs, the mass is enough for more people. I usually only make 8 large meatballs.
  4. Instead of minced meat, you can also use sausage meat. To do this, simply squeeze out 500 g of coarse sausage and process according to the recipe.
