Instructions

  1. Clean and chop the peppers and soup vegetables, peel the potatoes and chop them too.
  2. Heat oil in a pot. Press the bratwurst mixture as dumplings directly out of the sausage into the hot oil, fry all around and remove well browned.
  3. Sauté the vegetables and potatoes in the frying fat, add the vegetable stock and bring to the boil. Season with salt, pepper and oregano and cover and simmer for about 15-20 minutes.
  4. Take out a small part of the vegetables and puree the rest. Add the processed cheese and let it melt (or sour cream).
  5. Add the rest of the vegetables and the dumplings again and let them warm up in the soup.
