Instructions

  1. Peel the onion and cut it into small cubes, then fry it with the bacon in 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Sprinkle a pinch of sugar on top and let it caramelize a little. Add the cucumber cubes and stew. Then deglaze with a little vinegar and let simmer briefly. Fill up with a little water and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  2. Then season with salt and pepper to taste, sprinkle with the parsley and serve.
  3. Boiled potatoes or mashed potatoes are served with it.
