Instructions

  1. Cook semolina in the milk to make semolina porridge.
  2. Squeeze the lemon. Mix the flour with baking powder in a bowl, add all the other ingredients and mix with a mixer.
  3. Grease the Hans-Form (pudding-form) with margarine and snow through a sieve with flour. Then add the dough.
  4. Close the Hans form, place in a large saucepan and fill the saucepan with water as high as possible. Cover the pot with a tea towel and cook the Hans in this water bath for 2 hours.
  5. Bring the morello cherries to the boil and thicken with the starch.
  6. Serve the Hans hot. It can be served as a simple, sweet main course or as a dessert.
  7. If there is anything left over, it can be cut into pieces and fried in a pan with a little fat. Delicious.
