Cut 4 pieces of peel the size of a thumbnail each from the lemon or bergamot and place in a large cup. Then add a little boiling water and let stand for 20 to 30 minutes so that the lemon or bergamot aroma can develop.
Then add agave syrup and coffee spices and pour over the finished, hot filter coffee or add 2 teaspoons of instant coffee powder and pour boiling water.
Note: I use Sonnentor coffee spices, which are a mixture of cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, allspice and mace.
