Instructions

  1. For the pasta, fill a large saucepan with water and add the pasta (e.g. spaghetti, tagliatelle, fusselini) to the boiling water. Cooking time 6 - 12 minutes, follow the instructions on the packaging!
  2. For the sauce, peel the onions and cut into fine cubes. Either buy the bacon already cut into small cubes or cut it yourself into small cubes.
  3. Put the olive oil and butter in a second small saucepan and heat. Let the onions become translucent in it. Then add the bacon and leave in the saucepan for about 1 - 2 minutes while stirring. Then add the sour cream, the grated lemon zest and the nutmeg.
  4. Either put the pasta on the plate and then spread the sauce over it, or after draining, return the pasta to the large saucepan and pour the sauce over it, stir well and then put it on the plate.
  5. No salt is necessary because of the bacon. I also just cook the pasta in water and not in salt water.
