First, the almonds are lightly browned in a high steel pot without any fat. As soon as they start to brown, pull from the fire.
Drizzle the sliced apples with lemon juice. Add the plums, raisins and spices. Put back on the stove and heat everything with the sparkling wine for about 10 minutes. Then add the sugar and let everything boil for 5 minutes.
Then pour into twist-off jars, close and turn upside down for 10 minutes.
