Mix the butter and sugar with approx. 3 tablespoons of milk until frothy. Add the vanilla sugar, salt, the flavors and eggs and stir well. Mix the flour with the baking powder and stir into the mixture spoon-wise. Add a little more milk if necessary. The dough should have a relatively firm, sticky consistency.
Cut small balls from the finished dough with a teaspoon dipped in flour, place on a baking sheet and flatten a little.
Bake the biscuits in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 15 minutes until golden. Cool on a wire rack.
The biscuits taste very good with Italian espresso or cappuccino.
