Soak the beans overnight. The next day, cook in water without salt until tender.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top / bottom heat.
Grate the carrots into fine strips, dice the onion (alternatively 2 spring onions). Sauté the onions and carrots in a little olive oil and season with salt, pepper and optionally cumin.
Put everything in a bowl. Add the beans and mix well. I used my hands for this. This caused the beans to crack a bit.
Shape the mixture into 10 small balls, place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and press them flat. Bake in the oven for about 20-30 minutes.
Tips: You can eat the meatballs with a salad or use them as a patty for a burger.
You can also vary the ingredients. For example, mix parsley into the mixture.
