Instructions

  1. For the tea, bring the water to a boil, remove from the stove and add the three tea bags. After about 5 minutes, remove the tea bags and let the tea cool down.
  2. Prepare the syrup by adding the water and sugar to a saucepan. Peel and slice the ginger root and add to the saucepan. Bring to the boil, turn the temperature down and simmer gently for a minute or two so that the sugar is completely dissolved, stirring with a mixing spoon. Take off the stove and let cool down as well.
  3. Then pour the tea into a mug with a handle, remove the ginger from the syrup and add it to the tea. Add the lemon juice and stir well. Then put the jug in the refrigerator and let it cool well.
  4. Before serving, add the mineral water, it should also be well chilled. Pour ice cubes into glasses, fill up with the lemonade and serve. If you like, you can garnish it with a lemon wedge on the edge. The amount is 4-6 glasses depending on the size.
