Fill the bloodroot and schnapps into a suitable container and leave to stand for approx. 4 - 6 weeks. Shake vigorously once a day.
After the specified time, filter the set bloodroot and add the brown sugar and shake daily. After 2 - 3 days the sugar has dissolved and the bloodroot can be drunk.
This recipe makes a very mild bloodroot schnapps, if you like it a little bitter, you can double the amount of bloodroot.
