Cut the cabbage into small pieces. Peel and dice the onion.
Heat the oil in a roaster and fry the minced meat in it until crumbly. Then add the onion cubes and the white cabbage. Also fry until the cabbage gets some color. Deglaze with the broth. Season to taste with salt, pepper and possibly ground caraway seeds and let simmer for about 20 minutes. Finally, if necessary, bind with a little mixed cornstarch and season to taste.
