Ingredients
- 500 g minced meat
- Olive oil, for frying
- 1 medium onion (s), diced
- 1 clove garlic, pressed
- 1 large carrot (s), diced
- 3 tablespoon tomato paste
- 250 ml vegetable stock
- 150 ml tomato (s), passed
- 1 handful herbs (thyme, basil, parsley), mixed, fresh, chopped,
- salt and pepper
- Chilli powder
Instructions
- Heat the oil in a pan and fry the minced meat until it is hot and crumbly.
- Add onion cubes, garlic and carrot and continue frying.
- Stir in tomato paste and deglaze with vegetable stock and tomato sauce. Season well and add herbs. Simmer with the lid closed for 15 minutes.
