Mix bourbon, 4 sprigs of mint and sugar in a small glass. Pour into a glass filled with ice cubes and stir until the outside of the glass is cold and steamed up. Add a splash of rum or brandy to the drink. Garnish with the remaining sprig of mint. Serve with a straw.
