Heat oil in a pot. Chop the onion and chop the garlic. Cut the chicken into pieces.
Fry the onion, garlic and chicken in the oil, season with salt and pepper.
Make a sauce from the broth, tomato sauce and red wine, pour over the chicken, bring to the boil and simmer in a closed saucepan over low heat for 1 hour.
Remove, sprinkle with herbs, put a slice of lemon on top and serve.
This goes well with mixed salad and flatbread, which can be dipped in the tomato sauce and eaten.
