• 500 g sausae, coarse
• 400 g apples, rouhly diced (with skin)
• 400 g onion (s), finely diced
• 3 tablespoon oil, neutral (e.g. sunflower oil)
• 2 teaspoons thyme, dried
• Salt and pepper
• 3 tablespoon applesauce
• 1 pinch (s) cinnamon

Instructions

1. Grease a baking dish with the oil.
2. Mix the apples, onions, applesauce, cinnamon, and thyme in the dish and season with salt and pepper.
3. Pierce the sausages several times with a fork and place on top of the apple and onion mixture.
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (428°F) on the middle rack for 45 minutes, until the sausages are golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 63°C (145°F).
