Grease a baking dish. Then mix the apples, onions, applesauce, cinnamon and thyme and distribute in them. Pour some salt and pepper over it. Then pierce the sausages several times with a fork and place them on the apple and onion mix.
Bake in the preheated oven and at 220 degrees on the middle rack for about 45 minutes (until the sausages are golden-brown in color)
