Place the flour, eggs and breadcrumbs in three separate deep bowls. Whisk the eggs and season with the pepper and salt as needed. Then turn the mozzarella slices in the flour, then in the eggs and then in the breadcrumbs until everything is covered with breadcrumbs as much as possible.
Fry the breaded slices in a pan in a little hot oil on both sides until they are golden but the cheese does not melt.
Tip: It also tastes great if you put a few drops of lemon juice on the mozzarella slices afterwards.
