First, briefly put the defrosted berries in the microwave until they start to pop. Then mash it with a fork so that the juice comes out. Then add the oatmeal and the liquid, stir and heat in the microwave for about 2 minutes until it has the desired consistency.
Add sweetness and possibly vanilla or cinnamon as required - done! Super filling and tasty, especially when it`s cold.
Attention! It cooks very high in the microwave, so use a bowl that is big enough.
Tip: It becomes creamier with milk, more fluffy with water. You can also change the consistency with the amount of liquid.
Variants:
- Simply use other berries, preferably frozen, because these give off the most liquid
- Put fresh fruit and 1 teaspoon nut butter or Nutella on top of the Basic Porridge
- Then stir in applesauce and cinnamon into the basic porridge
- Prepare the porridge with milk and then stir in 1 tablespoon of drinking cocoa powder
