  1. Put all ingredients except for the apple in a saucepan and pour a good 1/4 liter of water, bring to the boil, then simmer for about 5 minutes. Peel and roughly grate the apple, mix with the oatmeal mixture, possibly a little maple syrup on top - a delicious porridge for cinnamon lovers.
