First mix the stock from the hot water and the vegetable stock. Then you put the broccoli in a saucepan and pour the vegetable stock over it. Bring to the boil and simmer for about 20 minutes.
After 10 minutes, take out a few florets, cut them into bite-sized pieces and set them aside. They then serve as a solid soup.
While the soup is cooking, cut the chicken breast fillet into cubes or strips, about the size of the bacon strips. Then fry the bacon in a pan, then add the chicken cubes. I don`t use oil for this, as the bacon gives off enough fat, season a little with salt and pepper.
Puree the soft-boiled broccoli in the broth and add 100ml more cream, then add the soup garnishes - broccoli florets, bacon and chicken breast strips - and stir everything together again.
