Wash the broccoli, peel and chop the stalk and cut the broccoli into florets.
Bring the vegetable stock to a boil. Add broccoli and milk, bring to the boil and cook over low heat for about 15 minutes.
Then puree the broccoli with the cooking liquid. Add the cream cheese, lemon juice, salt and nutmeg. Mix everything together again, bring to the boil again briefly and serve immediately.
