Instructions

  1. Bring salted water to the boil in a sufficiently large saucepan and cook the broccoli in it for 2 minutes.
  2. Drain the broccoli, then chop it very finely and place in a large enough bowl. Whisk the egg and pour over the broccoli mixture. Chop the spring onions and garlic cloves, place in the bowl and add the cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs. Let the mixture cool down a little, season to taste and knead well. Here you can add a shot of Tabasco, depending on your taste.
