Heat the oil in the pan, lightly fry the bacon cubes in it, then 1 finely chopped onion or more, finely chopped peppers, and finally the finely chopped garlic in this order.
Deglaze with a little milk. Add the cream cheese and tomato paste and stir. Possibly add a little more milk.
Add the broccoli. First the thinly cut stalk, then the florets with the stem down. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
I like the broccoli to be firm to the bite, so cook it lightly with the lid on for about 5 minutes, a little longer depending on taste.
All possible and impossible variants are conceivable. A little more garlic, boiled or fried potatoes, leftover peas from the day before or mushrooms, a few zucchini slices, everything is possible. And when the cream cheese runs out, quark or cheese might do the same.
