Instructions

  1. Dice shallots and sauté in melted butter or clarified butter until translucent. Add milk and cream, bring to the boil and simmer gently for 10 - 15 minutes, possibly a little longer. The liquid should be reduced by about 1/3. Crumble the goat cream cheese and let it melt in the sauce. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  2. In the meantime, cook the broccoli florets in salted water until they are firm to the bite, drain, arrange in a bowl and pour the sauce over them.
  3. This is a delicious side dish to briefly roasted meat, meatballs / meat fritters or a vegetarian dish together with pasta or potatoes (parsley / rosemary / wedges). Then the amount is only sufficient for 2 people.
