Instructions

  1. Divide the broccoli into florets, peel the stems if necessary and cut into bite-sized pieces. The vegetables are cooked firm to the bite for 8-10 minutes in plenty of salted water. Then drain the broccoli in a colander and allow to evaporate.
  2. Peel the garlic and press down with a fork or knife, melt the lard in a large pan and toast the garlic cloves in the hot fat until golden brown. Then remove the toes from the pan.
  3. Cut the cooked ham into narrow strips and fry them in the hot fat. Then add the broccoli and toss with the ham. Season to taste with freshly ground pepper and, if necessary, a little salt. Let it steep for a few minutes and distribute on plates.
