Wash and chop the tomatoes, remove the insides of large tomatoes. Cut the onions into fine cubes, peel the ginger and garlic and also dice very finely. Cut the fresh basil into fine strips.
Put everything in a bowl, add olive oil and season with salt, pepper and sugar (as required, depends on the acidity of the tomatoes). Now mix everything carefully.
Can be served well on small mini bread chips.
