Cut the bacon and onion into small cubes. Clean the Brussels sprouts and cut into fine strips with a cucumber slicer. If the stalk stays on, you have a better grip when planing.
Leave out the bacon and sauté the onions until translucent. Now add the Brussels sprouts and cook for about five minutes. Stir in the flour, now add the cream and mix in well. Season to taste with salt, pepper and granulated broth and bring everything to the boil briefly.
Tips: Instead of fat bacon, you can of course also use mixed bacon. Instead of cream you can also use sour cream or crème fraîche, then you don`t have to add so much cornstarch.
