Instructions

  1. Prepare the Brussels sprouts and cut the large pieces in half.
  2. Heat a pan and let the 2 tablespoons of olive oil get hot. Fry the Brussels sprouts briefly and vigorously in the pan and stir frequently so that the cut surfaces in particular take on a little color (are browned).
  3. Now remove the Brussels sprouts from the heat and heat a large saucepan with the butter. Put the fried Brussels sprouts in the hot butter, dust with the sugar, toss again vigorously. Then deglaze with the white wine, add chilli and curry powder and season with a little pepper. Put the lid on and let the Brussels sprouts simmer over low heat for approx. 8-10 min.
  4. Pour in the cream and now season with salt. Rub some of the zest of an untreated lemon and sprinkle over it.
  5. Swirl again, season to taste and serve.
