Instructions

  1. Clean and wash the Brussels sprouts and cut into thin slices with a vegetable slicer. Peel and finely chop the shallots.
  2. Melt the butter in a large saucepan. Add the shallots and fry until translucent, stirring occasionally. Add the walnut halves. Add Brussels sprouts and fry briefly. Pour in the vegetable stock and simmer for 15 minutes on a mild heat, stirring occasionally. Season to taste with salt, pepper and balsamic vinegar.
  3. Keep the Brussels sprouts warm over a mild heat until ready to serve.
