Instructions

  1. Mix the butter with honey until foamy, then beat with the egg yolks. Gradually stir in flour, milk, vanilla, grated zest 1/2 lemon, salt and baking powder and let the dough swell for 30 minutes. Beat egg whites and fold in. Bake waffles one after the other in the preheated, greased waffle iron.
  2. Serve with fruit, fruit sauce and cream or with vegetable soup.
