Fry the bacon in a pan with a little oil. Remove from pan and set aside. Put the egg yolks, lemon juice, mustard, barbecue sauce and Worcestershire sauce in a tall container and season well with salt and pepper.
If everything is mixed up with a hand blender, the bacon can be added in large pieces. If you use a mixer or whisk, the bacon must first be chopped very finely (e.g. with a chopping knife). Now an emulsion has to be made from the egg mixture and the oil. To do this, first add a few drops of oil to the egg mixture and beat / stir vigorously. When the mass begins to solidify, the remaining oil can be added in a thin stream. Keep beating / stirring. When the burger sauce has reached the right consistency, it can be seasoned again with salt and pepper. However, the original is very spicy / salty. Then store in a cool place and use within 2 days.
Recipe Notes
This sauce is modeled on the Big Tasty Bacon Sauce from the McDonald's and goes ideally with burgers, grilled foods but also as a salad dressing.
