Peel and halve the potatoes, wash and place dripping wet in a microwave-safe container. Cook at 600 watts for three minutes. Then pour the butter over the potatoes and stir. Sprinkle 2 - 3 pinches of sea salt on top and stir again.
Now put in the microwave for another three minutes. Poke in with a fork in between and when they fall loosely from the fork, they are done.
They go well with grilling with herb quark or a dip in summer, but also with raclette in winter. Made quickly and simply delicious. Children love these potatoes.
