Instructions

  1. Peel the bananas, slice half a banana and cut them into small cubes. Drizzle the lemon juice over the banana cubes and set aside for decoration. Roughly chop the remaining bananas and put them in the blender.
  2. Halve the fresh figs and remove the flesh with a small spoon. Halve the vanilla pods lengthways and scrape out the pulp with a sharp knife.
  3. If there are no ripe figs, dried figs can be soaked in a little water overnight and used like fresh figs the next morning. The dried fruits are also much cheaper.
  4. Mix in the pulp of the figs and carefully stir in the mineral water. Pour the fig and banana buttermilk into glasses. Serve with the banana cubes and dust with cinnamon if you like.
