Instructions

  1. Leave out the bacon and sweat the fine diced onions in it until translucent. Then you add the somewhat coarser salami cubes and fry them. Reduce the heat a little so as not to burn the salami, but to let the fat out.
  2. Then add the cut white cabbage and braise it for about 20 minutes until it is firm to the bite and has turned a nice brown color. Season with salt, white pepper, ground cumin and paprika.
  3. In the meantime, cook the pasta in salted water until al dente, season to taste, fold into the braised cabbage and mix properly. Heat again properly and season again if necessary. Then sprinkle with the fresh chopped herbs and serve.
  4. Tip: Try the cabbage noodles with mixed minced meat instead of the salami cubes. This also tastes delicious.
