Cabbage Pancakes with Ham Instructions

  1. We wash the cabbage. Remove the upper leaves, if damaged. Finely chop the cabbage.
  2. Boil water in a saucepan, add a little salt, and pour chopped cabbage into it. Bring the water to a boil, reduce the heat and cook the cabbage for 20-30 minutes, until tender.
  3. We discard the cabbage in a colander. Cool it down.
  4. Cut the ham into small cubes.
  5. In a deep bowl, beat eggs with flour, salt, and pepper.
  6. Add boiled cabbage to the beaten eggs with flour. Stir until relatively homogeneous.
  7. Add the ham to the egg and cabbage mixture and mix again.
  8. Heat 2 tablespoon in a frying pan. tablespoons of vegetable oil. Use a spoon to form pancakes in a frying pan. Reduce the heat, cover the pan with a lid and fry the pancakes for 4 minutes on each side. Top up with vegetable oil if necessary. Put the finished pancakes on a paper towel to remove excess fat.
  9. Serve hot cabbage pancakes with ham as an independent dish. Although cold, they are also delicious.
