Instructions

  1. Clean the cabbage, cut into quarters, and cook with the stalk in salted water until crispy. Let cool, remove the stalk, chop the cabbage quarter and squeeze out. Cut the onion and bacon into small cubes, fry in oil. Mix the cabbage, onion and bacon mixture, egg and flour together, season and thicken with breadcrumbs. Then shape patties and fry them in oil. It goes well with salted potatoes and a cold chive sauce (1 cup of sour cream with 1 crushed clove of garlic, chopped chives, salt, pepper and nutmeg to taste).
