Instructions

  1. Heat the lemon peel, cardamom capsule and orange blossom water with the water, let it steep for approx. 4 minutes (do not boil). Then bring to the boil briefly and pour directly into tea glasses, using a spoon, so that the glass does not crack.
  2. Generously sweet.
  3. Café blanc originally comes from Lebanon, I got to know it in Morocco, where it is often served after a long, hearty meal. It is said to have a calming (due to the orange blossom) and digestive effects (due to the cardamom). It is definitely relaxing and should definitely be drunk very hot and very sweet. The proportion of orange blossom water can also be reduced depending on your taste.
  4. As a quick instant version, I pour a dash of orange blossom water over 2 pieces of sugar and pour boiling hot water over it.
