Instructions
- Finely grate roughly 1 tablespoon of the dark chocolate and set aside for garnish.
- Chop the remaining dark chocolate into large pieces.
- Heat the sweet cream in a saucepan over medium heat for 2–3 minutes until steaming, but do not bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat and stir the chopped chocolate into the cream for 1–2 minutes until completely dissolved and smooth.
- Stir in the ground cinnamon and cardamom.
- Stir in the strong freshly brewed coffee.
- Pour the mixture into preheated glasses.
- Add sugar to taste.
- Use UHT (ultra-high temperature) milk if possible, as it froths best. Heat the milk over medium heat for 1–2 minutes until warm.
- Whip the warm milk with a whisk or electric frother for 2–3 minutes until frothy.
- Pour the frothy milk onto the coffee mixture.
- Garnish with the grated chocolate.
