Instructions

  1. Melt the sugar in a pan over medium heat and caramelize. Peel the pineapple, remove the stalk and cut into pieces. Then place in the caramelized sugar. Scrape out the vanilla pod, add the pulp and pod to the pan. Add a shot of rum and let it evaporate. Add a little water and stew for about 5 minutes. Remove the vanilla pod before serving.
