Cut the zucchini and carrots in equal parts into long sticks.
If you like onions, cut them in a crescent shape and sauté them in the oil until they are lightly colored. Remove the onions from the pan and set aside.
Fry the carrots and zucchini vigorously in the fat. Squeeze in the garlic and fry briefly. If you like, you can now add sugar and let it caramelize. Put the onions back in the pan and season with salt and pepper.
Without clarified butter, the side dish is vegan.
Tip: If you don`t love onions, you can do without them.
